EVIDENCE 1: TO SHOW DAILY WORKOUT SAMPLE OF MY INTERNSHIP PARTICIPANTS IN THE WEIGHT ROOM
Objectives: To show and give insight to the type of core exercise and workout practices each participants are required to fulfill five days per week.
Evidence Overview:
The picture files attached below is a digital example of the types of workout activities and core exercises that each of the 10 female participants that are taking part in the Mind and Muscle fitness connection program are expected to fulfill 5 days a week, conducted by me and my other co-workers (Julie Gastall & Tiffany Oshinoiki). During the week days, as each of the participants comes in for their workout sessions, they are required to all pick up the copy of the diagram handouts they had been given at the first workout meeting and follow the instructions listed in the handout with a group personal trainer assisting them along the way. This handouts were provided to them so that they can have an idea about the types of workout activities they were going to be engaged in through out the semester in order for them to better understand elements of the program's requirements.
During this process, I then instruct the participants to break into small groups while performing the workouts, to build more professional interacting and social conversations with the participant as I guide them with the workout sessions step by step. This is to make the participants feel encouraged and empowered to continue with their progress and also to help them feel more comfortable doing their workouts as each participants take their turns performing each workout positions. This process was important for the participants because it helped their workout sessions less stressful & overwhelming, but instead, made it more fun and exciting to accomplish since part of our goals for the program was to keep our participants entertained and captivated.
